This course covers the basic methods for obtaining numerical solutions with a digital computer. Included are methods for the solution of algebraic and transcendental equations, simultaneous linear equations, ordinary and partial differential equations, and curve fitting techniques. The methods are compared with respect to computational efficiency and accuracy.


This course offers a comprehensive yet practical exploration of basic electrical and electronic concepts, hands-on applications, and troubleshooting. The course focuses on fundamental principles and their applications to solving real circuit analysis problems, and devotes six chapters to examining electronic devices.

This course provides an introduction to computational methods and tools used in petroleum engineering. Students will learn about modelling, simulation, and analysis techniques for solving complex petroleum engineering problems.


This course covers the principles and practices of design in petroleum engineering, focusing on the development of innovative solutions to oil and gas challenges. Students will learn about the design process, creativity, and practical applications.


This course covers the dynamics of oil and gas systems, including the principles of petroleum dynamics, control theory, and their applications in petroleum engineering.


This course introduces students to the principles of systems engineering as applied to petroleum engineering projects. It covers the entire lifecycle of oil and gas systems, from requirements definition to system validation.
